Say.
[Generally when Fuji starts off with a phrase like that, coupled with that particular glint in his eyes, those who know him well enough give him a wide berth and try not to maintain eye-contact for too long. He's currently seated in the Mahogany pokemon center, looking cheerful and attentive, which generally means that he's bored as hell and gods forbid you attract his attention in any way.
But people don't know that. Yet. He tilts his head, and goes on, whimsically.]
People still celebrate their birthdays here, don't they? If you've arrived as an eighteen-year-old, and some time passes and your birthday rolls around, it's natural to want to celebrate it -- especially with the friendships that spring up over time.
On the other hand, I've heard from the grapevine that when you return to your own world, you're dropped off at the exact same point as when you've left.
[Consideration!]
If an eighteen-year-old celebrates his nineteenth birthday here, would that make that hypothetical person both eighteen and nineteen at the same time?
[That smile is wry. So very wry.]
In other news, I've recently heard of a tree that punches people.
Out of curiosity, how well does it dance?

Oh? Which one is your favorite?

[ There's a pause, in which he clears his throat. When he speaks again, his voice is pitched higher, a little girlish, but still unmistakably male. He sounds excited. ]
I posted on the network about Surf, by the way! Hopefully someone else knows.
Even if we have to go down to Route 29, it'll be exciting, right?
[audio]
You sound like we're a unit already. I don't remember saying anything about pairing up with a Trickster.
[audio]
You don't want to be friends? But you're so cool! I thought we could be friends and, you know, travel together?
[audio]
That voice doesn't suit you.

Where do you get your disguises, anyway? Or is that one of those need-to-know-basis sort of questions?
[audio]
Very much need-to-know. Is this better?
[audio]
[Talented, he notes. It amuses him. This sort of thing has always piqued his interest.]
[audio]
Get used to it. Precious little does me justice.
[audio]
[It's refreshing. Aaaand because Fuji is the master of changing subjects randomly--]
I'll see you outside in five?

[ And Niou ends the feed. ]
