He's currently seated in the Mahogany pokemon center, looking cheerful and attentive, which generally means that he's bored as hell and gods forbid you attract his attention in any way.

But people don't know that. Yet. He tilts his head, and goes on, whimsically.]

People still celebrate their birthdays here, don't they? If you've arrived as an eighteen-year-old, and some time passes and your birthday rolls around, it's natural to want to celebrate it -- especially with the friendships that spring up over time.

On the other hand, I've heard from the grapevine that when you return to your own world, you're dropped off at the exact same point as when you've left.

[Consideration!]

If an eighteen-year-old celebrates his nineteenth birthday here, would that make that hypothetical person both eighteen and nineteen at the same time?

If you get attacked, you can battle it. I heard it's weak against water..

Are you sure about that? I mean, it is a tree.

Sudowoodos are rock type Pokémon.

You can kind of tell, by the way its name sounds, that it's not really a tree.

Bored, mostly. I'm surprised. Being a paper-pusher isn't as fulfilling as I thought it would be.

Maybe. Thinking is easier when there's something to think about.

I promised them that, once I do that I need to do back home, I'd come back.
